AudioPin for macOS
Terms of use
Effective September 1, 2026
AudioPin is a macOS application distributed through the Mac App Store. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms.
License
AudioPin is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The license is for use on Macs you own or control, as permitted by the Mac App Store terms.
One purchase, the whole app
AudioPin is paid up front: a single $3.99 purchase unlocks everything, permanently. There are no in-app purchases, no subscription and no account. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, so you can re-download the app on your other Macs for free through the Mac App Store.
What the app does
AudioPin watches your Mac's default audio output and input and reverts them to the devices you pinned when the system changes them on its own. Default-device behavior belongs to macOS, and Apple may change it in a future macOS release; updates that keep AudioPin working are free.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds follow Apple's Mac App Store refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Warranty and liability
AudioPin is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated; the current version is always at this address with its effective date. Questions: [email protected].
